Before you buy supplements online, read the following paragraphs.
Many people shop the same way:
See 4.8 or 5 stars ⭐
See thousands of good reviews or likes
Assume it must be a good health product.
But that can be a dangerous mistake.
A report recently published by SuppCo tested 44 top-selling supplements bought online.
About half failed active ingredient testing.
Some had only 0% to 3% of the main ingredient claimed on the label.
Even some gummy vitamins had almost no real active ingredient.
That is worrying.
Because supplements are not like buying a phone case or water bottle.
These are products we put into our bodies.
Once swallowed, we cannot take them back out.
If the quality is poor, the long-term impact on health may be serious.
So please be more careful:
✅ Don’t rely only on star ratings and reviews
✅ Don’t be easily impressed by fancy labels and bold claims
✅ Check whether the brand is long-established and credible
✅ Look for proper quality assurance and third-party certification, e.g. NSF certification
When it comes to health, cheap, popular, and heavily advertised does not always mean safe or genuine.
For something we consume every day,
it is wiser to choose trusted brands with strong quality control and recognised certification,
rather than gamble on unknown online products.
Your body is not a place for trial and error.
Be careful what you swallow.
